The scene between Juliana and Sergio was written to educate the people watching the show.
If you cannot get that and if you can’t understand that the point of it was “this is what the fuck happens when you don’t support your child”, then you need this education as much as the target audience of aam.
Was it nice? No. Was it necessary? Yes.
It physically pained her to do it, you could see it (all the awards to Barbie). She was drunk and was being manipulated by a douche who was voicing her biggest fears/insecurities.
